National Gallery of Art March 2007 Concerts in Penn Quarter Washington DC

Concerts Every Sunday Starting at 6 p.m.

March 4: Contemporary Music Forum, Music by John Cage and other composers
Presented in honor of Jasper Johns: An Allegory of Painting, 1955–1965.

March 11: National Gallery Orchestra with guest conductor Dalia Atlas and pianist Ingrid Fliter, Music by Fanny Mendelssohn, Saint-Saens, and other composers. Presented in cooperation with the National Museum of Women in the Arts and in observance of Women’s History Month.

March 18: Davidson Fine Arts School Chorale with director James Dunaway. Music by Barber, Brahms, Mozart, and other composers.

March 25: Pianist Thomas Mastroianni. Music by Liszt and Debussy.

All programs begin at 6:30 p.m. in the West Building, West Garden Court, unless otherwise noted. No charge, first come, first-seated beginning one half hour before the program commences.
